Nedra Toponce
Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
Nedra Toponce has approximately twenty years of experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and a combined twenty-six years in the Human Services field. Nedra obtained her first college degree in 1988 from Brigham Young University-Idaho at the age of twenty. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development in 1994 from Brigham Young University, and a Master’s Degree in 2003 with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Her experience is vast having worked in the past at Providence hospital in Massachusetts, residential facilities in California and Utah, and in private, county and state governments in California and Utah. She has served on numerous boards in the community, and currently serves on several boards related to marriage and the family. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been in private practice for about twelve years. She is highly trained on the multifaceted issues facing individuals, couples, and families. She is a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
She has written two guidebooks that provide a framework for Couple and Family relationships. They are: A Guidebook for Couples: Learning How to Counsel Together as a Couple, and A Guidebook for Families: Learning How to Counsel Together as a Family.
